Coming soon…

The new novel will be available soon on Amazon.

Synopsis-ish

Ranging from Southernish Scotland to Southernish England, using trains, fieldwalks, mountain treks, tunnels and coffee stops to get at each other, some baddies and goodies battle to gain the high ground.

Yes, it’s your basic, everyday story of ordinary people being kidnapped by witches, realising the witches should be stopped, and finding out they might be able do something about it.

About the author

It was only very late in life that K.V. Spruce realised writing was the way to go.
This probably shows in too many ways, but hey ho.

The author likes playing with words in the sandpit Literature chose to disown, gazing from that windswept shoreline to the unattainable smear of deepest blue beyond, dodging the seagull shells.

The new novel was intended for people who read to wind down, unafraid of escapism and untroubled by casual construction, and not so much for people who wish to spend their years and bile on (no doubt talented) literary criticism.
If you enjoy taking life too seriously or have a proclivity for Victorianesque grammarian denigration, you really won’t like this author’s writing, so no need to squander your valuable time and precious blog space with highly qualified and righteous invective.
Just saying.

What people who have read it say

Below are a few thoughts by unknown people who may have been inspired in some way by something they read in a book. Not necessarily this book.

Wow! The bit in the middle I read after the book fell open almost made me want to turn another page.

Gertie Bloemfenhausen

I wondered what the cover was all about. Will possibly open the book in future if I need something to get the log burner going.
UPDATE: there doesn’t seem to be an option to turn those five stars into one…

Meddie Trainfellow

I cannot deny, try as I might, that this is indeed a book written by K.V. Spruce.
